I remember
hearing from my
mother that our grandmother's brother John was 7 feet tall. And
when he
became ill in the US, he went home to Ireland to die and be buried
there.
I, also, remember hearing from my mother that on the night your
grandfather
Olson was lost at sea, our grandmother Annie had a vision of him in her
bedroom
while she was in bed. She knew it couldn't possibly have been
him,
because he was at sea. But, according to the story, when she
awoke in the
morning, there was a puddle of water on the floor of her bedroom in the
exact
spot where her husband appeared to her the night before. I don't
know if
I believe this, but this is something that was passed down through the
Sweeney
family. Have you heard this story before?
